Marshall and Marion Wright

Several years ago, Darrell Spicer, was blessed to meet Chaplains Marion and Marshall Wright at the Louisville Truck Show. Chaplain Gary Rayburn of Lonesome Road Ministry introduced us. What a blessing it has been getting to know these two Godly folks. I was excited to hear what God was doing in their trucking ministry called “Power of God Trucking Ministry”. They have purchased a tractor and was in the process of setting it up to be a mobile chapel. They are planning on touring the country visiting truck stops and showing our nations drivers and the trucking industry Jesus.
Soon after our first meeting God put it on my heart to ask them to become part of the Channel 21 Ministry Chaplains team. Just like Chaplain Gary says, if we tie ourselves together with other ministries, we will become a net that we can cast across this country and the world. So, Power of God Trucking Ministries became part of the Three-Fold Cord Ministries. Check out Lonesome Road and Channel 21 Ministries web pages for a list of the Three-Fold Cord Ministries.
Marion and Marshall not only became partners and Chaplains with Channel 21 they have become very active teachers and speakers on our Monday night Chaplains conference line. In resent months I have started depending on them for ministry advise and prayer. It has become very evident to me that as a ministry Channel 21 Ministries needs fresh ideas and a new outlook to continue into 2020 and beyond. I have asked Marion and Marshall to join me and Gary Rayburn to help grow this ministry and to stand with me in helping our chaplaincy program to modernize and assist our Chaplains in whatever needs they may have to minister to the drivers out there.
Because Channel 21 is a 501 C 3 ministry we have always been operated by a board of directors. Because God has sent these two prayer warriors our way, I have asked them to join our directors board. Effective immediately I will remain as Ministry president, Gary Rayburn will become the ministries Vice President, Marshall will be the Chief Operating officer and Marion will be on the board of directors and ministry secretary.
I am proud to call these folks my friend and proud to stand in the gap wherever possible for our nation’s drivers. Following is the bio of these two wonderful people. As you can see, they are fired up and ready to serve Jesus. They are prepared for ministry, we are so honored to have these folks on our team. Thank you Jesus for sending them to Channel 21!!!!!
Both Chaplains Marshall and Marion have served in ministry in numerous capacities that they have been called to. However, God placed the trucking ministry on their hearts many years ago, so they are thankful and elated to now serve in the Truck Chaplain ministry in addition to their other ministry assignments.
